Description: This two-hour webinar focuses on the toilet and bathing rooms for single users, multiple accommodations, and gender neutral. We will discuss locations where toilet rooms are not required to be accessible. We will also discuss the California Plumbing Code and its impact on where and what number of plumbing fixtures are required.

Learning Objective 1:

Participants will gain knowledge of the provisions of the California Plumbing Code that regulate the number and type of fixtures required. 

Learning Objective 2:

Participants will understand the scoping provisions for toilet rooms that are not required to be accessible.

Learning Objective 3:

Participants will gain knowledge of California Laws beyond Chapter 11B that regulate toilet rooms.

Learning Objective 4:

Participants will gain knowledge of the differences between the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the California Building Code, Chapter 11B related to the toilet and bathing rooms.
